The Just Neighbors program invites participants to walk in the shoes of those living at the poverty level. It helps people examine all of the contributing factors that lead to a life of want and hopelessness, and it energizes participants to take action in the form of volunteerism and advocacy initiatives. 

Just Neighbors participants and facilitators are a community of people acutely aware of their neighbors in need, people who gladly and willingly give what they have to alleviate physical and emotional suffering. 

In this area of the site, we can communicate with one another and cross-pollinate ideas and energy.  We can work together on community and national service projects as well as e-advocacy campaigns addressing hunger, homelessness, a fair minimum wage, fair access to medical insurance, and a host of other issues that should be of great concern to a fair and just society.
